Warehouse/Logistics/Transportation/Distribution Manager

Process Engineer

Process Engineer for one of the world leading producers of nonwovens. This near billion dollar manufacturer is looking to fill this position within their automotive sector. They produce products for the medical, hygiene, wiping, industrial and specialty markets. The incumbent is responsible for learning plant systems and manufacturing cost contributions.

The position assists in the safe start-up, training and verification of plant equipment and systems. The position also assists in identifications and implementation of improvements. The company requires that the applicant perform all tasks in a safe manner, keeping in mind safety on the job at all times. Some of the work will be in a team environment providing assistance to various departments requiring engineering support.

This candidate will determine if Manufacturing Systems are capable of meeting customer specifications, assures products meet customer specifications, and assures line is set up according to process specifications. Experience with Quality Window management – QW templates/chart limits is a definite plus. Work will be done specific to carded webs, and needle punch as it relates to automotive. A BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience is required.

Plant Maintenance/Engineer Manager

Opening with one of the world leading producers of nonwovens; the responsibilities are as follows:

• Managing Head of Maintenance with 3 to 4 direct reports and 22 hourly employees. Electrical Manager w/ 6 electricians, Mechanical Engineer / Facilities Manager w/ 4 Power/Boiler mechanics and Controls/ PLC Engineer/Manager. Candidate would directly lead the 12 mechanics working on equipment.



• Responsible for scheduling and managing of all maintenance manpower, predictive / preventative maintenance, managing their computerized maintenance management system and working with engineering and suppliers to look at part failures (equipment parts not product parts).



• Should have an Engineering degree and have managed a Maintenance department in a manufacturing environment preferably rolled goods i.e. textiles, carpet, padding, rubber, paper etc but not necessary.



• Main focus is on Maintenance reliability, up time currently at 82% goal is to exceed 84% and improve predictive / scheduled maintenance.



• Major projects and installation of equipment is managed by an engineering group out of Corp in NC but he would be responsible for running minor projects in the facility.



• Must be willing to manage a large maintenance group as well as be hands-on and develop strategies for improving predictive schedules and up time.
